On Friday, October 4th, the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History will host Nuclear After Dark, an outdoor evening event featuring a screening of the History Channel's Modern Marvels: The Manhattan Project.

NEW THIS YEAR!

J.R. Oppenheimer

The Museum team created an immersive interactive espionage-themed puzzle experience related to the Manhattan Project. Game participants will receive a Manhattan Project badge featuring key Manhattan Project staff. The Curatorial team will have unique Manhattan Project artifacts not currently on display, and guests can take photos in front of a backdrop of the Main Gate at Los Alamos. There will also be music from a DJ, local food trucks, a brewery, and access to the museum's exhibits after hours.

Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the movie will begin at dark. The screening will take place on the back of the museum, allowing one to enjoy the film under the stars and among the iconic airplanes in Heritage Park. Guests are welcome to enjoy the cuisine provided by Albuquerque's finest food trucks and Bombs Away Brewery alongside music from a local DJ. Guests are also invited to tour the museum at their leisure.
