The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is thrilled to provide week-long "Science is Everywhere" Summer Camps from June 2nd through August 8th, 2025. Students Pre-K through 6th grade can enroll in one, two, or all week-long camps, and they will experience exciting science and fun activities at the museum from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
Join us for a wonderful week of forecast fun! Explore the science of weather by learning about the four seasons and the water cycle, create clouds in a bottle, and even make some lightning of our own using static electricity! There is no need to wait for a rainy day. Here, you’ll become a weather expert lightning fast!
Suns out, fun’s out during this awesome weather camp! As we discover why there are different types of weather through learning about seasons and the water cycle, concocting clouds in a bottle, and even creating some lightning of our own via static electricity, you’re sure to be on cloud nine!
Life is sure to be a breeze during this week, all about the weather! Join us as we learn what changes in the atmosphere cause different types of weather, explore density and pressure by making clouds in a bottle, and even generate some lightning entirely using static electricity! This week is sure to leave you thunderstruck!To get into mathematics, use the sorting hat to demonstrate probability, grab your broomsticks, and prepare for an extraordinary week of magic beyond your wildest imagination!
