A day of family fun at Discover STEAM Day at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History
[Albuquerque, NM] – The National Museum of Nuclear Science & History is thrilled to announce the return of Discover STEAM Day. Families can explore the fascinating intersection of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics through hands-on experiments and engaging activities in this fun-filled event. The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at the Museum located at 601 Eubank Boulevard Southeast in Albuquerque.
Discover STEAM Day will offer a unique opportunity for families to immerse themselves in the world of STEAM, with activities directed by local engineers, physicists, and technicians.
Guests will have the chance to test their flying skills on glider simulators, experience the wonders of rocket science, have fun with robotics, and even witness the excitement of dancing electricity with Tesla coils. Additionally, participants can get creative and make art using reclaimed materials and enjoy the thrill of eating ice cream made with liquid nitrogen. This day of exploration and discovery is designed to be both fun and educational, offering engaging and suitable activities for adults and children of all ages.
