Cold War Fallout Shelter
As the Cold War became a reality, Americans were asked to construct and equip a family fallout shelter. Visitors will walk through a re-created shelter that features the Civil Defense issued materials need to survive an attack by the enemy. Many will have memories of “Duck and Cover” drills from their school days.
